Schwedelbach

We spent the whole day in Schwedelbach.  Never even got into the car.  As a matter of fact we didn't even leave the hotel until about 2:00.  We used the time to just enjoy leisurely breakfast, relax, read, rest and post yesterday's blog.

We then walked around the village more just acquainting our selves with what we could observe about German life.  When we lived here was more of a rural farming village.  Now it is a bedroom community with developed neighborhoods and commuters zipping in and out of town.

We visited the house we lived in for 3 years, but the gentleman who lives there now did not speak English and seemed nervous that we were at his door.  Oh well.   This is what the house looks like now.

We went back to the room to relax. then about 5:15 we headed out to dinner.   We walked about 2 km to a chalet type building in the country side.

We ordered our food at the window and were now waiting for it to be ready for pickup.  I should have included the view from our table it was breath taking over the fields and hills.  You can see some in the background.

The weather was just perfect in the low 70s with a breeze.  That helped from the walk which was over a hill.  It was a great time to spend with my sweetheart.
